Grange Country House Accommodation

The Grange dates from 1760, being the original manor house for the surrounding estate. Today, while retaining many features it has been converted into comfortable guest accommodation.

It has level gardens, a croquet lawn and a one bedroom self catering cottage. The house overlooks fields and 2 small lakes. It is quiet and relaxing, being well set back off the main road.

The bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms with georgian slipper baths. The rooms are equipped with radio, television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The front rooms have views down across the lakes.

The dining room is used both for breakfast and for dinners, which are all home cooked and available by request. We use locally sourced produce where possible, supplemented by seasonal fruit and vegetables from our own garden.

The dining room is ideal for small family events and can seat up to 20 people.

There is a comfortable guest lounge with open fire, papers, games and books - a perfect retreat on a rainy afternoon. On sunny day there is seating around the grounds.
